Concrete Expansion Joint Fillers and Colored Expansion Joint Fillers
Epoxy and Polyurea Joint Fillers Protect and Repair Concrete Floor Joints and Surfaces
Expansion joint fillers and colored saw cut and control joint fillers are an essential part of protecting and repairing your commercial or industrial concrete slab floor. And for more than 40 years, Metzger McGuire has been there for our customers with the solutions.
Concrete expands and contracts with temperature and moisture changes, and proper jointing prevents the development of stress that will eventually cause cracks. Expansion joints can minimize cracking and damage, and filling the control joints in your concrete slab will keep your employees and customers safe – as well as drive performance in your industrial warehouse or commercial distributorship.
Fillers are semi-rigid and structural material that supports the edge of the joint where heavy traffic crosses your industrial and commercial concrete floor. It is recommended you use fillers after your slab has settled and shrunk as much as it is likely to — usually around a year after placement or installation.
We sell a variety of epoxy and polyuria filler products, including semi-rigid and structural, to suit your concrete repair and joint filling needs. Our epoxy fillers can all be mixed by hand, and they allow for the addition of sand or aggregates if desired. Our Polyurea fillers are great for applications in freezer and cooler buildings, as they cure at temperatures as low as -30°F.
Metzger McGuire products are available in 72 standard ColorFast colors
A semi-rigid floor joint filler can be used for filling joints in a newly placed concrete floor or for repairing deteriorated joints in an existing floor. Semi-rigid is also a good choice for repairing a concrete crack that is subject to movement, or may continue to open during the concrete drying-shrinkage process.
Structural expansion joint filler are used to structurally repair or rebuild concrete surfaces and are especially well suited for repairing larger surface defects or holes. When used in combination with sand or aggregates, structural epoxy fillers are ideal for repairing and rebuilding concrete floor joint edges or broken slab panel corners.
